Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of U-MIC, a mobile application developed and operated by Redvanta Software Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The short version

Use the App responsibly. U-MIC is a tool for amplifying your voice. Do not use it to harm, harass, or deceive others.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
The App is provided as-is. We do our best but cannot guarantee it works perfectly in every situation.
You own your content. Notes you write in the App belong to you.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use U-MIC. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the App.

Licence to use the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use U-MIC on your personal Apple device for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer any part of the App.

Subscriptions and payments

U-MIC offers optional paid subscriptions that unlock premium features. The following applies to all subscriptions:

Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and governed by Apple's payment terms.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
You can manage and cancel subscriptions at any time through your Apple ID account settings.
We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods, except where required by applicable law.
Prices may change with reasonable notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use U-MIC to:

Harass, threaten, or harm any person
Broadcast unlawful, defamatory, or obscene content
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Interfere with or disrupt the App or its infrastructure
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App

We reserve the right to terminate your access if you violate these rules.

Your content

Any notes or content you create within the App remain yours. We do not access, store, or transmit your content — it stays entirely on your device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Disclaimer of warranties

U-MIC is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for your particular use case. Some features depend on hardware capabilities (such as Bluetooth) and Apple platform restrictions that are outside our control.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Redvanta Software Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Third-party services

U-MIC uses Apple's native frameworks and the App Store for payments. Your use of those services is governed by Apple's own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
