Privacy Policy

Redvanta Software Ltd ("we", "us", "our") built U-MIC ("the App") to work entirely on your device. This policy explains what information the App handles, why, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, contact us — details are at the bottom.

The short version

Your voice is never recorded or stored. Audio passes through the App live and is not saved, sent to us, or sent anywhere else.
No account is required to use U-MIC.
We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for advertising.
Notes you write in the app are stored only on your device.

Information we do not collect

U-MIC does not record, store, transmit, or have any access to the audio that passes through the microphone. All audio processing (voice effects, EQ, reverb, autotune) happens locally on your device in real time and is discarded immediately after playback.

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or contact list to use the core features of the App.

Information the App stores locally on your device

The following stays on your device and is never transmitted to us:

Any text you type into the "Note" feature
Your saved preferences (selected effects, volume levels, input/output device choices)

This data can be cleared at any time by deleting the app or clearing the note within the app.

Microphone and Bluetooth permissions

U-MIC requests microphone access so it can amplify your voice, and Bluetooth access so it can detect and connect to nearby speakers and headphones. These permissions are used solely to provide the App's core functionality and are never used to collect or transmit audio or location data.

Purchases and subscriptions

Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment details, card numbers, or billing address. Apple's own privacy policy governs that transaction — see apple.com/legal/privacy.

Support and feedback

If you contact us through the in-app "Contact Support" feature, your message is sent via your device's Mail app directly to support@redvanta.net. We only use this information to respond to your inquiry and do not add you to any marketing list without your consent.

Third-party services

U-MIC does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The App uses only Apple's native frameworks (AVFoundation, StoreKit, MediaPlayer) to function.

Children's privacy

U-MIC is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.
